Bulgarian Summer Camp Volunteers

Turn your next holiday into an unforgettable combination of volunteerism and leisure travel as a Bulgarian summer camp volunteer.

What will you do on your summer vacation? Turn your next holiday into an unforgettable combination of community service and leisure travel as a Worker Bee Tours Bulgarian Summer Camp Volunteer. Our one week packages provide an easy way for motivated individuals and groups to make a positive social contribution exploring the best of Bulgarian nature, history, culture and cuisine. We take care of all of the details, organize camp staff positions, sightseeing, transportation, meals and lodging. All you have to do is show up at the appointed time and leave the heavy lifting to us.

If you like working working with children, and want to try your hand at doing it cross-culturally, than this is a fabulous opportunity for you to make a big contribution in the lives of children who deserve an opportunity to thrive. We work with different kinds of camps. Sports camps, English camps, Religious camps (through local churches), Community Service Projects, and more. See individual itineraries for specific details.

Exploring Bulgaria

Interwoven with your summer camp staff volunteer commitment, we make time for you to discover some of the best things Bulgaria has to offer. Spend your afternoons hiking through picturesque landscapes on Bulgarian mountain trails, where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature and stunning panoramic views. Explore historical and cultural sites, where walking through the cobblestone streets of ancient towns offers a testament to Bulgaria’s rich history and heritage. Indulge in the local cuisine, savoring the flavors of fresh salads, hearty stews, and delectable desserts.

Each itinerary includes a visit to at least one of the most important Bulgarian tourist destinations, such as Rila Monastery or Old Town Plovdiv, both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Rila Monastery, a significant symbol of the Bulgarian identity, offers a glimpse into the spiritual traditions of the country. Marvel at its intricate frescoes and architecture, and soak in the serene atmosphere. In Plovdiv, one of the oldest cities in Europe, visitors can explore layers of history from civilizations ancient and modern.
